Who are we?
Think Local Southern Indiana was formed by a group of local business owners, and networking group representatives. This group is dedicated to the mission of helping Southern Indiana business owners succeed.
Local business owners are invested in their community. They support local schools, charities and other organizations. The dollars they earn in their business are reinvested back into the community as paychecks for their employees and purchases from other local businesses.
For every dollar spent in a locally owned business, 45 cents stays in the local economy, creating jobs and contributing to the local tax base. For national chains, only 14 cents of that dollar stays in the community. Think about the impact that 31% difference can make for Southern Indiana! IT'S HUGE!
